WELCOME TO 2012! Time is going way too fast!! There is alot of upcoming event that you can get involved in! All events are open to youth in grades 6-12 except where noted. The Youth Ministry makes every attempt to keep the cost for events as low as possible. It is our desire to make all activities available to all youth and their friends. Youth Bible Study - every Wednesday evening at 6:45.
February 5 - First Sunday Night Social - Movie and Game Night. FREE. Invite your friends.
Feb 24-26 - DiscipleNOW - with Jody Jennings, Baptist Collegiate Minister at North Greenville University and the North Greenville University Campus Band. Cost is $60.00
March 4 - 1st Sunday Night Social - Live in Concert Rob Smiley and Tim Hawkins. Liberty Baptist Church, tickets are $19.00 in advance, $25.00 at the door. See Randy for your ticket.
April 1 - Palm Sunday - 1st Sunday Night Social
**NEW EVENT - April 21 - 4:00 to 8:30 PM - Newport News Maxwell Lane and Denbigh area Youth Block Party. Tabernacle Baptist Church, 401 Lucas Creek Rd. All area youth 6th to 12th grade are invited to this afternoon of fun and fellowship.
May 6 - YOUTH SUNDAY and 1st Sunday Night Social.
May 11 - Youth Take Over - Lock-In, led by the 11th and 12th Grade Sunday School Class.
May 20 - Musicfest - Student Choir, Youth Ensemble, Mirror Image and the Youth Praise Team will be participating.
June 3 - 3 PM - Baccalaureate Service
June 18-22 - Middle School Centrifuge - Carson Newman University, Jefferson City, TN. Cost: $253.00. Deposits of $25.00 due Feb 21.
July 1-5 - Centrifuge Combo Camp - Ridgecrest, Asheville NC. Cost: $285.00. Deposits of $25.00 due Feb 21.
July 8-13 - PBA Work Camp - Emmaus BC. Cost:$135.00
July 16-20 - VBS - Middle School Class with High School assisting in recreation and groups. Special activites for all youth on Tuesday, July 17 and on Thursday, July 19.
August 3-5 - Camping and Canoe Trip - TBD
August 13-17 - PBA Sports Camp - Youth are needed to lead in this fun weeklong 1/2 day camp.
August 24 - Kummoniwannaknowya Luau and Pool Party - Luau for all rising 6th graders. Pool party for all youth and families. Let's welcome our new friends.
